Gregory L. Hunt, Ph.D.,  is a highly-regarded speaker, consultant, and writer. He leverages his wide-ranging work in the worlds of church, community, business, academia, counseling, and relationship education to help people think holistically and purposefully about their lives, relationships, and organizations.


In September, 2009, after 30+ years of pastoral ministry, Greg transitioned into full-time work as President of Directions, Inc., a non-profit he and his wife, Priscilla, formed to serve people as they lead their organizations, relationships, and lives.


Greg's book, Blackbird Singing in the Dead of Night: What to Do When God Won't Answer, was released in October, 2011, achieving international bestseller status on Amazon.com. His book, Leading Congregations through Crisis, was named by the Academy of Parish Clergy as one of the top ten parish ministry books of 2012.


Greg’s wife, Priscilla, is Executive Director of Better Marriages, a pioneering organization that equips couples for collaborative life-long marriages. She and Greg travel extensively, leading church-related and non-sectarian marriage conferences and retreats.

Serving For-Profits and Non-Profits

Directions, Inc. was intentionally created as a non-sectarian non-profit organization.  serving public companies as well as congregations and other non-profit organizations. Greg and Priscilla also serve couples, whatever the nature or stage of their relationship.  They are frequent speakers and conference leaders for relationship education events, and are certified trainers in Couple Communications and PREPARE/ENRICH, and other skill development courses. Greg has particular interest and expertise in personal coaching for small business executives.
